Famished bears in northem Russia have resoted to digging up graves in oemeteries and reportedly eating at least one body after a soorching summer destroyed their natural food souroes of forest berries and mushrooms, officials said Oct 28. The brown bear's grisly habit is forcing locals in the Arctic Circle region of komi to mount 24-hour patrols, protecting their families and livestocks. domestic pets and animals have also been bear victims.
